The stone is surrounded by diamonds and delicate milgrain detailing — a French technique involving the application of very fine beads to a setting. Historically, to receive a milgrain ring was the ultimate romantic gesture, due to the immense skill and time involved in crafting such a piece.

This ring features a finely handcrafted platinum milgrain cluster setting with milgrain split band.
Tourmaline
1.32ct round cut rubellite tourmaline in a deep purply-red colour.
Diamonds
0.42ct worth of brilliant cut diamonds graded ‘F’ in colour and ‘VS’ in clarity.
Band size
L1/2 (complimentary resize available — check your ring size).
Rubellite
Rubellite tourmalines, with their deep red/purple/pink hues, are one of the most desirable and valuable of all the tourmalines. With a rating of 7-7.5 on the MOHs scale of hardness, notable clarity and and no cleavage, rubellite tourmaline is considered an excellent gemstone for all types of jewellery.
Tourmaline is one of the official birthstones for the month of October. It is also considered the traditional gemstone for an 8th wedding anniversary.
